Eddie Pepperell’s crazy hole in one

Holes in one are a rare occurrence on Tour but Eddie Pepperell’s during the first round of the 2018 British Masters was even more unique than normal. From 220 yards, the Englishman’s ball struck the pin, launched into the air, then one-hopped into the hole.

The British Masters supported by Sky Sports is contested at Walton Heath Golf Course in Surrey, England. The 2018 tournament will see Paul Dunne defend his maiden European Tour title. Dunne will need to overcome a strong field: world number one Justin Rose, reigning Race to Dubai Champion Tommy Fleetwood and five-time European Tour winner Matt Fitzpatrick, the winner of the 2015 British Masters.
